I have succumbed to the smelly side of the Force, and it's all
telaryn and
harmonyfb's fault! They just kept... talking about them! Evilly talking about them!
And a great big hug to
queenofattolia who picked up some imps and bottles for me at the sale this week and mailed them up, or I wouldn't be sitting here smelling like some sort of pumpkin candle right now!(Yep, the first one I tried was Jack).
And boy howdy are these things strong... I've got to get better at opening the little imp vials, though, because I think I'm getting way too much of the stuff on my fingers (I couldn't figure out why it was still blowing me away so long after dabbing it on, when it occurred to me that my hands were contributing to the smell). Thankfully, I quite like the scent (and I think
rackham does as well, which is the important bit!). Can't wait to give the others a try!

Date: 2005-11-23 04:01 pm (UTC)As for the taste? Pretty icky. I think the Mashed Potato soda would have actually been good if it had been sweetened with sugar instead of Splenda. The same is not true of the other flavors... even if they'd used sugar, I think they still would have been pretty vile.
I've picked up both of the Holiday Packs this year
because I'm a glutton for punishment, because they had a few new flavors and the money goes to a good cause. I'll probably post something about them when I do... even if it just winds up being "Yuck!"I'm really curious about the Salmon Pate soda, and even more about the Wild Herb Stuffing soda, since it appears to be unsweetened.
Hmmm... I'll have to take a peek through my LJ archives to see if I posted my thoughts about last year's Holiday Pack anywhere.
