All caught up on "24"
Mar. 13th, 2005 03:26 pmWell, one big benefit of having to prop my foot up for large stretches of time... I'm can finally get current with a bunch of television shows that have been back-logged.
Catch-up Fest #1: "24"
I was so relieved when Michelle stepped on the scene... about as relieved as I was when Tony first made an appearance. Because, I've gotta say, the current CTU seems to be filled with a bunch of obnoxious, ragingly incompetent, backstabbing, conniving idiots.
I'm also still wondering what's really going on... what the real incentive is behind the bad guys' actions. It's obviously not as straightforward as they first tried to present it, but the writers aren't tipping their hands yet.
Oh, and then there's Jack and Paul... apparently, the way to do some serious male bonding with the husband of your girlfriend is to torture him in her presence. I actually suspect that Jack is once again going to end up unlucky in love this season... 'cause I don't think she's going to stick around after getting a glimpse of what he's capable of doing. Plus, I'm beginning to think Paul is a goner (when she asked Jack to watch out for him, I think she fairly effectively signed his death warrant).
Getting a little tired of all the torture though... seems like not an episode goes by without someone getting tortured, usually by the good guys. I can understand the reasoning behind it, but do we really need to be treated to torture every.single.week?
