nmissi and I spent most of the day meandering our way up from Louisville (including getting caught in traffic behind what looked to be a fairly nasty accident (we couldn't tell for sure and had to infer a lot from what we could see... massive skidmarks and bits of tire all over the road, a HUGE section of guardrail missing (sort of punched through) and a ton of rescue and large tow vehicles with people standing a bit further along by the railing and staring down into a large ravine that ran under the road. Our guess was a semi that went out of control and was, at that point, down in the ravine waiting to be lifted out somehow. At any rate, the one nice thing is that the traffic never really stopped moving... although we were going under 10 mph for most of it.
Got to the hotel and met up with our roomie,
cynthdiane, ran out and got some dinner and then headed up to the JadeCon Suite to hang out with other Jaders. All and all, a pretty fantastic day!
