30 April - New Bathroom Blinds

While we were gone for the extended weekend, the new blinds for the master bathroom arrived! One of the main things we've been working on this year is replacing the blinds in the house. When we bought it, there were actually some nice, fairly high end blinds in some of the room... but they were probably put in when the house was built 20 years ago and were showing their age. Plus, some of them seemed fairly impractical for where they were placed and for the uses we had in mind for those spaces (as an example, we're getting some sun-blocking (but not blackout) blinds for the dining room that is now our office). Anyway, we wasted no time in getting those suckers installed!

1 & 2 May - Summer and Spring

Neither of these two photos is wildly interesting, so I thought I'd hurry things along by posting them together.

On Thursday, the 1st of May, we had to turn our air conditioning on for the first time this year! ( It got a bit toasty outside... )

3 May - Over 100 pieces of flair!

Stopped off at our local Safeway on Saturday and got a good chuckle from one of the employees who is quite obviously a fan of the movie "Office Space." He very proudly proclaimed that ( he had over 100 pieces of flair! )
