Fall television viewing schedule
Aug. 20th, 2007 01:26 pmI've seen a few other people do it, so I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon... I used the fall schedule guide out at Futon Critic to make my list, which means I might have missed a few things, if they didn't show up there.
I'm finding myself in the strange position of hoping some of these shows really suck, because I really don't want to spend that much time watching television!
The shows in italics are the ones I want to check out, but have no idea whether they'll actually catch me in the long run.
Monday:
8PM - Chuck
9PM - Heroes
10PM - Journeyman
Tuesday:
6PM - Reaper
8PM - Bones
9PM - House
Wednesday:
8PM - Pushing Daisies
9PM - Bionic Woman
Thursday:
10PM - Without a Trace (duh!)
Friday:
9PM - Moonlight (I don't have a lot of hope for this one, but figure I'll at least give it a try.)
10PM - Numb3rs
Sunday:
8PM - Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (sometimes, you just want feel-good TV)

On the down side: the amount of early turnover is worrisome, and may mean that the series will take a number of episodes to find its direction.
To the extent that one can judge from the limited promos and coverage I've seen, the sense I get is that the intended vibe is, in fact, in the general vicinity of Remington Steele/Moonlighting -- although for obvious legal reasons, no one's going anywhere near making the connection overtly. If that's a correct guess, and if they can pull it off, Moonlight might turn out very well indeed. OTOH, that's an awfully ambitious target for a cast whose credits are mostly pretty lightweight. I don't know that I'd hold my breath.
