Southwest Airlines likes to taunt me

I mentioned awhile back that I'd installed Ding! on my desktop as a way to track some of the really cheap fares on Southwest Airlines (and it worked, too, since my airfare to visit my grandfather a few months ago was rock bottom).

Well, apparently Southwest has picked up on the fact that I'm planning a trip to GenCon and to visit nmissi next month, because the most recent Ding offers? Were for rock bottom flights to Louisville and Indianapolis. In September. ARGH!!!!!!

Big meanies.

I've never gone to anything but Rivercon and Conglomeration, but it has been years since I went to one. Indy wouldnt be too far... if I had any money. =)

I never buy a floor pass for GenCon,(I just borrow so I can shop for souvenirs) but if you're a serious gamer, then it's worth doing. A day pass might be a reasonable alternative.

If you've only been to Rivercon? You've never really been to a con. ;) Now, Dragoncon- THAT's A Convention I can get into. And Atlanta, GA isn't so far away, either...
