fenchurch | Convention Season is a-coming...

I finally knuckled under and bought a plane ticket for my trip to San Diego Comic-Con! I'd been dithering on whether I wanted to just drive (with stops to visit friends and relatives (including my grandfather who needs computer help) along the way, I would have done it in three easy days) and then did the math. I think it would have saved me about $25 to drive... and that was assuming gas never got above $3.10/gallon.

So, I'm flying. Down to Orange County, then driving to San Diego with

cynthdiane and her son... I realized, at the last minute, that

rackham's twin sister lives only about an hour away from Cynthdiane. After a quick call to see if she'd be willing to drive out to get me and take me back to the airport later, I extended my visit by a few days and will get a chance to see my niece! (As well as her parents.)

I'm still feeling that twinge about missing WriterCon this time... so many people there that I want to see and meet, but SDCC has started releasing the schedule for SDCC and the excitement is starting to take over!

Oh, and just in time for Convention Season...
