Completing the pilgrimage

I swear, it sort of feels that way... it seems like at least a third of my flist in migrating to another city to see the movie, as well.

To everyone else, I'm not sure what my internet connectivity will be like over the next few days. But I guess there's always dialup, if all else fails.

If I get a chance today, I'll try typing up some of my memories of the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption (assuming I haven't already done so somewhere on my LJ, I need to double-check that), since today is the 25th anniversary.

My gosh, I can't believe it's been 25 years already. I was living in Southern California when it erupted, and followed the coverage with fascination.

You be careful on your own travels, and report on what you think of the movie. I'm not sure I'm going to bother to see it unless everyone reports that it's worlds better than the first two prequels.

It is *definitely* worlds better than the first two prequels... this is the movie I've been wanting to see all along. It's visually beautiful and horrifyingly beautiful. I can't wait to see it again.

Have fun at the flick. I've got my ticket for tomorrow...and Friday. ;) I figure I'll need a couple of watchings to take it all in.

Hurry up and get back so I can start begging for the rest of the Veronica Mars eps., will ya? LOL I have all of this pro-Logan sentiment that I'm trying to harness because there's so much that I know about him yet! But, that locker talk in the finale? OMG, I kinda loved him right then.
