Brrrrr... Idaho Falls

Got in around 7:30, unloaded the car and set the VCR to record "Desperate Housewives" then headed up the hospital to visit my grandmother. She is *very* ready to come home... but after three weeks in the hospital, I really can't blame her. We're still not sure whether she'll be getting released tomorrow or Tuesday, but it's definitely going to be early this week.

The roads, btw, stayed fantastic all through Idaho. Seriously, they apparently are privy to some hidden ancient secret of snow plowing and aren't sharing with Oregon. Or Washington, now that I think of it... the roads yesterday were just all around nasty.

It got down to -15F here last night, though it doesn't look to be getting quite that cold tonight. And now you see one of the main reasons I've never wanted to live in Idaho Falls. Brrrrr...

LOL! Yep... my dad grew up here and I think it might take a crowbar to get my grandmother to move away. Not that I mind... growing up in the military, this was as close to a "hometown" as I ever got, even though I never actually lived here.
