20 June - Awesome birthday present

fenchurchSo, the 19th was my birthday... and aside from going hiking and going out to Haiku for dinner, rackham also broke one of our traditions and gave me jewelry as a present. But really, it just proves once again that I have the most incredible husband in the world! I managed to get this shot by using a mirror to view the screen on my camera and set it up just right. The photo was a bit disconcerting, though, because taking it in a mirror meant that my perception of direction was really off... and the photos ended up looking, to my mind, like they were backward (even though they weren't). Funky.
For those who aren't old school Doctor Who fans... that is a TARDIS key and Rackham managed to find someone who made them as earrings, in order to match the TARDIS key necklace I've owned since I was 15 or 16. Is that not one of the sweetest, most marvelous things ever??
