Jun. 4th, 2014 09:51 pmBouncing back to the 26th, I decided to get a shot of the front of the house with the flag out.

You can see the last remnants of the tulips we had in the front planter... plus some of the flowers we put in to fill that spot as the tulips started to die off. The shrubberies behind them have actually been pruned since then and look much neater and, I think, a lot better. Unfortunately, it appears
rackham may be allergic to the red one. When he was out pruning, at first he thought he was just getting a bit scraped up (it has thorns), but then realize his arms and hands were almost completely covered in welts and hives. Oops. Next time it needs pruning, he's going to try wearing a thick long-sleeve shirt and some welding gloves (I'd do the pruning and spare him the risk, but I'm nowhere near tall enough).
