We've finally given up on trying to keep Numfar off the top of the cabinets in the kitchen... at least on the side of the room with the fridge (she hops on the counter, then the fridge and finally up to the top of the upper cabinets), although we seem to have hit upon an effective method for keeping her from hopping the four feet across to the top of the cabinets on the other side of the room... we put something right on the edge on that side. I even got to watch her consider the jump right after we did it, examining things from her high perch on the allowed side of the room and finally deciding it wouldn't work and backing down. For the time being, we've got some old platters up there, but I think we'll eventually find something a bit more decorative to block that space.

Anyway, on Friday I managed to get a photo of her in one of her most favorite spots... sitting high above everyone else, staring down at me at my computer (although I took this pic while sitting on the floor, to get the full effect of the height).
