More photo catch-up
Mar. 20th, 2014 01:15 pm16 March - Rackham playing life-size Fruit Ninja.
Okay, so I hope you're not hopelessly sick of photos of
rackham playing video games on our big screen... but this one was too good to pass up: playing life-size (and even larger than life-size) Fruit Ninja with the Kinect (so lots of big hand movements on this one). The Rackham-sized "shadow" you can see on the screen is actually generated in the game, to mimic his real-life motions. So cool!!!
Oh yeah, and you can see Numfar curled up on the back of the loveseat, looking bored.

17 March - Rainstorm Sculpture on Lake Tye.
On Monday I ran up to Monroe to find a Geocache and to go for a nice 40 minute walk around Lake Tye. I finished just one step ahead of an incoming rainstorm, so I thought this sculpture was rather suitable for the day.

18 March - Line Drying the Socks.
One of the odd side effects of wearing Vibram FiveFingers is that most of the really good socks available to wear with them are high-performance sports socks that have to be line dried. In fact, they're just about the only clothes we have in the house that can't just be tossed into the dryer... We actually bought that drying rack a few months ago from Ikea with the idea being we'd mount it on the wall so we would have someplace to line dry the few other items that need it, but it worked so well for the socks where it is that we've just left it there. We recently bought a second rack that we will be mounting on the wall. Eventually. Really.
