Tuesday's Photo: Loving the view!
Feb. 26th, 2014 09:05 pmTuesday was a low-key day... I woke up to the sounds of
rackham losing every bit of food he'd ever eaten. He managed to get his stomach under control and, since he'd donated blood the day before, called the Puget Sound Blood Center hotline to let them know he was sick. They told him that it could actually be a side effect of having donated, rather than an illness they'd need to worry about and told him to take it easy, get lots of fluids and call them back if he developed a fever or if the symptoms persisted. Since he says the whole thing was really sparked by a persistent dizziness, he went back to bed and slept it off, feeling much better as the day progressed. Neither of us had any idea that could be a side effect of donating blood... something to watch out for in the future!
So, anyway, since Rackham was home, I ended up sticking close as well (except for a run out to get a Geocache later in the day) and just enjoy the wonderful view from my desk... especially since it turned out to be an unexpectedly sunny day!

This is why we sacrificed the dining room to be the home office, even though we've got a rather nice room where it's supposed to be. I just couldn't imagine being so close to that view and not being able to enjoy it!
