This week,

rackham has been working hard to get things set up downstairs in the library so he could use the Xbox 360 there. It's meant clearing out boxes and unearthing components and jury-rigging things to hold said components as well as a television... but he did it! As of this morning, he now has things up and running with surround sound, space to jump around while using the Kinect and, much to Zoë's delight, a couch to sit on while playing.

Seriously, this is how she thinks the world should be: one of us sitting on the couch playing video games so she has someone to cuddle up with all day. Eventually, we're thinking of building in something to set the TV on, with spaces for components... but, for now, it's working nicely with things we already had on hand. And in case anyone is curious, Rackham is playing LEGO Marvel Super Heroes while Zoë looks on.
