For those who may not know (and I've got friends from all over the world with varying degrees of interest in American sports, so it's possible at least some folks on my flist have no idea what's going on), our local team is playing in the Super Bowl... and the entire region is deeply gripped by Seahawks Fever. There are merchandise stands set up on the sides of roads and you can't really go anywhere without spying half a dozen (or more!) people wearing Seahawks themed clothing (NOT a joke... to be honest, there have been times when I seem to be the only person in a store not wearing Seahawks gear). And I'll admit, it's a bit contagious. We'll definitely be watching the game this weekend and not just for the commercials this year!

I snagged this with my cellphone, mostly because I was trying to be somewhat surreptitious about it. I have no idea how the store would feel about someone taking random photos there. This was just inside the entrance and is the first thing to greet you when you walk in... but it is by no means the only decoration in the store. The entire place is festooned with 12th Man flags and green and blue decor, plus all the employees are wearing Seahawks gear (making them occasionally difficult to pick out from the customers who are likewise attired).

And yes, those are cases of Skittles almost as large as the cases of beer.
