Including the kitchen sink

fenchurchI didn't run across anything particularly interesting to photograph today, so instead... you get the kitchen sink!
I love having a garden window... although I've been thinking of relocating a few of these plants to other parts of the house. I seem to have a bit of a knack for growing succulents, so we've got quite a few around the place (and we've got an aloe plant that is VERY fertile... it's HUGE and spawns baby aloe plants with surprising regularity). The basil plant is new (obviously, I still need to repot it) and I'm hoping it likes this window as much as past basil plants like the kitchen window at our last house. I love being able to see the palm tree every day when I'm getting breakfast (this photo was taken in the morning... you can see the fog is still pretty thick outside).
The ceramic frog with the sponge in its mouth belonged to my grandma... I don't know when she got it, but it was next to her sink for as far back as I can remember. When she had to move out of her house, I asked if I could have it and now I'm really glad. I think of her every time I see it. The little faucet thing you can see on the right side of the sink is something I've wanted ever since I first saw one when I was 12 years old and I got really excited when I spotted it in this house the first time we toured it. That's a boiling water dispenser and it's fantastic for making tea! Oh and the TARDIS? Is a cookie jar!
I don't know if I've mentioned it lately, but I love our new house!
