Swans again

fenchurchI'm trying not to get too repetitious, but I'm still so enamored of all the cool stuff I can see in my new neighborhood. Honestly, if I didn't restrain myself, I'd probably just take a photo out the living room window every morning and go with that (because the view pretty much blows me away every morning... even a little bit on those days when we're completely fogged in). On Monday of this last week, I posted about the swans up the road with a distant photo of part of the flock, taken with my phone.
Well, today we were driving by on the way to church and we pulled over so I can snap this shot with my pocket camera (all the while wishing I'd brought my good camera with me):
As you can see, there's been a bit of water building up in the field this week... but the swans don't seem to mind! The young grey ones are getting lighter and lighter every day. I think it won't be long before they blend in entirely. Once again, these guys were *noisy*. I can certainly tell where they got their name!
