Volcano at sunset

fenchurchI had to run into Duvall this evening around sunset to grab some things for dinner and pulled off the road halfway across the valley to snap this shot.
This was taken just up the road a few miles from our place, looking south down the Snoqualmie River Valley, which you can see is actually pretty flooded this time of year. Off in the distance on the skyline is Mt. Rainier. While I didn't have my good camera with me (and I really wish I had... it would have done a much better job), I at least had my little pocket camera and didn't have to resort to my phone this time.
