Jan. 5th, 2014 08:59 pmFrosty hike
After the fog cleared away, the day turned absolutely beautiful... with clear blue skies and sunshine, but still very cold (for our standards, at any rate... down around freezing). So, we decided to enjoy it with a short hike out along one of the powerline trails out near Duvall. And you probably guessed it, we found a Geocache while we were out there.

As you can see, even with all the sun it was still quite frosty. I should have tried getting a photo with the nearby horses, who were all quite excited to see us and ran up and down in their paddock alongside the trail while we walked by.
Oh, and yeah... we found the cache we were looking for. Funny thing, we spent a few minutes searching around and then I checked to see who owned this one. Once I saw his name, I knew we had to have been looking for the wrong thing (he's VERY good at constructing caches and is known to be tricky) which, oddly enough, then made it easier to find! Yay! This makes for Day 1038 of my ludicrously long streak.
And a followup to yesterday, the buffet/TV stand in the sun! (And I really do keep typing "Buffy" every single time I try to type "buffet.")

You'll notice that the view out the window is all white? That's not because of a camera flash or anything... it really is that foggy. And at that point, the fog had already cleared rather substantially.
