fenchurch | Oh no, not again...

So, this weekend I had one of those moments where I had to stop and try to remember what I'd eaten half an hour earlier and whether it would have had any cow's milk in it. When the answer was no, I realized I had apparently not escaped getting infected by my sick husband last week, darn it! I ended up spending a good part of yesterday and the early part of today sleeping. I actually felt quite a bit better this morning but thought discretion was the better part of I WANT THIS GONE and just took it easy. As a consequence, today was a pretty dull day. I also decided, after I woke up, that it would be worth driving a bit further in order to find an easy park and grab Geocache, so I headed out to Monroe just after lunch.

Ever wonder where ducks go in the winter? Apparently, they live in ponds in shopping areas in Monroe, Washington. I was a bit surprised to see them (there's actually a pair in there, a male and a female), especially since that little pond was partially frozen over!
