It's been a cold day... giving us what we call "chewy rain" (seriously, this is a commonly used term). Not really hail, not exactly sleet, not frozen rain, but definitely a bit more to it than just rain.
rackham stayed home from work again, plowing through more episodes of "Phineas & Ferb" (he's ahead of me now). I had my piano lesson and picked up a few new pieces to learn. Yay!!
And then this evening, it finally tipped over from chewy rain and hail to the real thing. Our first snow of the season!
So, yeah, it's not a lot and it's dangerously close to turning into freezing rain, but it is snow nonetheless. And, of course, it's going to freeze overnight and make the roads absolutely horrible tomorrow. But for now, I'm going to enjoy the idea of it, while I don't have to go out in it.
