Happy LJ-versary to me!!

Wow... I can't believe it's been ten years since I first got a Livejournal accout! I haven't been posting as often as I used to, but I'm hoping to change that (in fact, I've made it one of my goals for 2013). I've also started working on taking a photo a day for the year, again... I did it a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it, plus it's another good excuse for posting here.

Had a quick appointment at the dentist this morning.. at some point on Christmas day, one of my fillings broke. I'm still not entirely sure how it happened, since I didn't notice until well after we'd eaten and I was just standing around talking with people (I noticed the sharp bit catching on my tongue). I'm very glad they were able to fit me in so quickly after the holidays... it was really annoying!

This morning when I was checking my email, Numfar was in her standard spot, draped across the back of my chair... absolutely zonked out, and I actually happened to have a camera sitting nearby (so I didn't have to disturb her by getting up to find one). It took a few tries, since I had to basically just hold the camera out away from me and try to aim it blindly, but I managed to get a pretty good photo of her.
