Greetings from Minneapolis
Aug. 9th, 2006 06:24 pmWell, the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport at any rate... I'm not sure exactly which city it's actually in.
The layover here hasn't really been too bad. I'd forgotten this was one of the airports with a mini-mall in the concourses, so there's been things to do, plus decent places to grab a very late lunch. I'm also very happy with the pervasiveness of Wi-Fi these days. It was $7 for 24 hours of access (of which, I'll wind up using three), but oh... it was worth it.
My flight to Louisville leaves in about an hour... and we're leaving for Indy from there sometime tomorrow morning. I'm so excited! Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the thing I'm donating to the JadeCon charity auction doesn't get broken into a million pieces along the way. I went ahead and checked that bag, hoping that the padding I had around it would be enough to protect it (because I really didn't feel like hauling yet another bag around with me everywhere). If not, I can always just use it as a visual aid, since I've got another one just like it at home that I can mail out to whoever gets it.
I'm horribly stiff and sore, but at least the ibuprofen seems to be kicking in. I also woke up ridiculously early (though not nearly as much so as![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
corellian_sugar), so I'm hoping I'll be able to get to sleep tonight at a decent hour (there's that pesky timechange involved, which means my body only thinks it's 9:00pm when it's midnight).
