Snowpocalypse in Portland!!
Dec. 14th, 2008 10:36 amWow, we sure picked a great weekend to go to Portland (okay, technically we didn't pick this weekend, but you know what I mean). The snow is falling, the wind is blowing and they're requiring chains on all the freeways throughout the city. So, no meeting up with my grandparents this morning for brunch and we're gearing up for a potentially lengthy drive home (even though it looks like the roads may be a bit better once we get over the Columbia River into Vancouver, WA).
Really, REALLY not looking forward to this. We're both easily freaked out by driving on snow these days (considering our experience with icy, snowy, windy roads a few years back, it's completely understandable).
