And the rain... and the thunder. All told, though, this really is my idea of camping. We're in a small cabin with electricity and there's wi-fi. Plus, the aforementioned brook... which is really more of a largish stream just a few feet from the front porch of the cabin. I love that sound, and it's been raining fairly heavily, so we're getting the sound of that on the roof, plus the occasional rumble of thunder. Niiiiiice.

Even with the wi-fi, I'm not getting online much... way too much sitting around and chatting with aunts and uncles I haven't seen in ages, finding out some of the things that have been going on in the family that I'd been out of the loop on. Not sure what's on the docket for tomorrow, but there was mention of "Activities" which doesn't bode well. Although I can't imagine what they'd be... considering I'm the only one of the grand-kids here (I really don't understand this... because aside from the cousin who lives in Alaska, we live the furthest away and yet we're often the only ones who show up) and I doubt any of my aunts and uncles are the sort who would really want to get involved in family reunion games.

Oooo... the rain just got REALLY loud. Time to sit out on the porch swing for a bit with my cutie.
