Today is the day for squeeing!!

The first act of "Dr. Horrible" is up!!!

Unfortunately, it apparently doesn't work outside the US :-(

EEeeeeeee!!!!! It's just as good as I'd hoped it would be! Wonderful, catchy songs! Fun characters! Nathan Fillion is absolutely perfect in that role. And as for Dr. Horrible, Neil Patrick Harris does such a fantastic job of making him seem like he could be a believable bad guy while still being completely sympathetic as a person (and, of course, the writing does as well).

NPH is so likable! I just adore him in this. And I'm loving the songs.

I'll have to watch - but not 'til tomorrow, because not only is Craig Ferguson on right now, Chris Isaak *swoon* is his guest.

Oh my god I want to be a supervillain named Conflict Diamond. That's the best supervillain name ever! Other than that, eeeeee, awesomeness! Yay Neil! And Nathan and Felicia and Bad Horse's cowboy dudes (ha!). Yay for living up to expectations!

God, I love NPH - so much so that I've overcome my Whedon hate to watch this. I didn't think it was actually a musical, but am so happy I get to hear him sing - I saw him play Tobias in an Encores! version of Sweeney Todd years ago and was immediately smitten. And of course he's the best thing about the otherwise-stultifying How I Met Your Mother and the idiotic Harold and Kumar movies.

Normally Fillion annoys me, but he's really good in this (Captain Tightpants indeed, and who knew he could sing?). The girl is forgettable (another of Whedon's waifs), but NPH absolutely rules, so I will be catching the next episodes.

I'm with you on the Whedon's Waif's issue. One of those things that once I noticed it started driving me crazy.

By the time I logged on it was working here too.

I'm in love with Joss all over again. It's curtains for me - lacy, gently-wafting curtains. That smell of cumin.

They are all adorable, aren't they? Must watch it again.
