1. Birthplace -- Honolulu, HI
2. Current Location -- Juanita, WA
3. The Shoes you wore today -- The ones I was born with and, briefly, my new skate shoes (when I went to work out at the YMCA).
4. How old will you be in five years? -- Five years from today? 43.
5. When is the last time you saw your mom? -- In March. Originally she was going to come visit last weekend, but couldn't make it. She might be coming this weekend.
6. Do you wear slippers? -- Not in the house. I keep a pair that look vaguely shoe-like out in my car... to wear into places that require them.
7. Where is your favorite place to be? -- In front of my computer (I'm such a geek).
8. Do you tan or burn? -- For the most part, tan tan tan (I'm about 1/4 Native American). If I haven't been in the sun for a REALLY long time, I'll sometimes get lightly pink, before I start to tan.
9. What did you fear would get you at night as a child? -- Mostly, aliens. But sometimes it was vampires.
10. Do you use a laptop or desktop computer for personal use? -- Both
11. What color are your walls? -- mostly off white (we're slowly painting the boring walls a new off-white color called "Cotton Fluff"). We've also got a sort of light-ish green with black trim on one wall in the dining room and a light-ish blue on one wall in the laundry room (that *everyone* who sees it says is the exact color they've been looking for).
12. How many pillows do you sleep with? -- Five.
13. What is your favorite season? -- Autumn.
14. What do you like best about fall? -- the colors, the cooler temperatures but dry days.
15. What do you like best about winter? -- Crisp, clean air during snowfall.
16. What do you like best about spring? -- the wonderful overcast skies and drizzle, interrupted by occasional bright sunny days.
17. What do you like best about summer? -- Warm days and cool nights.
18. What states have you lived in? -- Hawaii, Washington, Idaho, South Dakota, California, Oregon, Utah... plus one territory: Guam.
19. Have you ever tried escargot? -- Yes.
20. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? -- Buttermilk custard. Thankfully, it's not easy to make, so I don't have many chances to eat it.
21. What is your favorite dessert? -- Hmmm... probably crème brûlée.
22. What kind of jelly do you put on your PB&J? -- Marrionberry preserves.
I'm rather curious who came up with that list in the first place and why they wanted to know those particular things. It's such an odd collection of questions, and very US-centric.
