Wow.

I'd forgotten how *fast* this show is!

It's amazing how "24" can get away with things that would make me roll my eyes and change the channel if they happened on any other show...

I'm talking, of course, about Jack's escape from the terrorists. When he did it I was actually thinking "Oh yeah! You go Jack!!" and that he was being incredibly clever. It was only during the next commercial break that it really hit me: Jack just killed a man by biting through a his neck!!!!! *flail*

I love the direction they're taking Jack's character, though... he's both determined and insecure about what he's doing. I also love it when the bad guys completely and totally underestimate him... and that it became obvious, the only reason Jack was there and chained to that chair was because he chose to be. Stupid bad guys!

Kinda cool to see Eric Balfour again, though I really don't remember much about his character. Also, I knew Alexander Siddig was going to be on the show this season and it still took me a bit to recognize him!!

In other news, our cul-de-sac is still completely covered in ice and compact snow and, apparently, we're expecting more snow tomorrow. Fun.

Oh God, I had the same question watching that scene... esp. when he spit out blood and whatever else.... GROSS! I was wondering if perhaps I'm not in the target demographic since I wasn't thinking, "Whoa, hey, cool!" I wonder what Keifer Sutherland thought when reading that bit in the script (and then having to act it out!?).

I'm soooo excited for this season of 24. I think I'm going to have to watch 24 live and tape Heroes to watch at 10:00. I usually need another hour or so to come down after watching 24, anyway. ;)
