Power!!!!!!!!!!!
Dec. 17th, 2006 02:42 pmIt came back on just after Noon!!! It's already up to 66 degrees in the house and the fridge is already cold enough to move the food from the coolers. About half the stuff in our kitchen freezer started to thaw, so we'll be making chicken stock tonight and we tossed some of the things that have been in the freezer for awhile, anyway, as well as some of the pre-prepared stuff that doesn't store well at refrigerator temperatures.
All told, we were without power for about 60 hours.
We have lights!!! And television!! And computers!!!!!!
*contented sigh*
Now I'm off to wash my hair and afterward... I'm going to use my blowdryer.
