I'm going to San Diego Comic-Con!!!!!

I've always wanted to go and I'd thought about doing it this year... but WriterCon is the same weekend and I really wanted to do that as well. So I dithered. And dithered.

Then this morning cynthdiane IM'd me to see if I was going to SDCC... she'd just booked a room and was willing to share. And so, well, yeah... I dithered some more, but finally decided to bite the bullet and just go!

Squeee!!!!!!!!!

It does mean I'm going to miss seeing so many of you at WriterCon, though. :-(

The last one was so much fun, and I really enjoyed meeting so many of my LJ friends. Plus I'd been hoping to visit a bit with rosiewook, since that's her hometown. But, SDCC is HUGE!!! If nothing else, it'll be good practice for all the walking we'll be doing in London in October, and I know that at least a few other online friends are going to be there, too... great fun all around!

So... who else is going to SDCC???

Sadly, I will STILL not be going to SDCC. And since there'll be another Star Wars Celebration next year, it won't be happening in 2007, either.

Maybe in 2008? I've always wanted to go....
