I missed all this because of my own, thankfully much less eventful, travels. Thank goodness for safer car design! Nothing can stop some accidents, especially on ice, but at least they've made huge strides in keeping the people inside the cars in one piece. And it sounds like all the people who helped you were absolutely wonderful.
