GIP!

Well, mostly gratuitous at least.

It was lunchtime and there was a Flying J -- the perfect place for the perfect combination of lunch and email. And since I seem to do this sort of thing so often, I figured it was time Flying J Truckstops got their own icon. Not too shabby, considering the only thing I had to work with was MS Paint. Yuck.

I should be at my grandmother's house tonight, which means no broadband for awhile. :-(

My dad had four of the most adorable little kittens tumbling around all over the place... he tried to get me to take one, but I REALLY don't think that's a good idea right now -- Polly still has her nose all out of joint over Zoe. But... kittens!!! Sooooo cute. I'll have to see if I can post pictures later.

ETA: I'm out in the car in the parking lot now and realized I forgot to mention where I actually am... at a Flying J just outside Coeur D'Alene, Idaho... about to head into Montana before veering back down into Eastern Idaho.

As I drove by the Flying J in Wythville VA today, I had an overwhelming desire to go in.

I didn't, which is why I'm up NOW when I have to be at work at 8 AM- ARGH- but guess I understand better why I was drawn. Any earlier and I would have I think. :) Just for the heck of it.

But damn, 12 hours in a car (even a car you love with the man of your dreams and your favorite dog in the world) is just too damn long to delay getting home even more.

Kailin will be so jealous! She SO wants a new kitten. (I don't think Mia would take too kindly to that!)

That is a very attractive icon. It reminds me of a simpler, more optimistic time.
