Fry's! Fry's! Fry's! Fry's! Fry's! Fry's!

It's open... we found out through the grapevine. The Grand Opening isn't until this weekend and they opened yesterday to give the new staff some time to settle into their jobs.

Just got back (without buying anything major... how'd that happen??)

Trip to Fry's = Kid + Candy Store

I'm now a very happy GeekGrrl.

Does it have a theme? Our local Fry's in Burbank has an "alien/UFO" theme -- there's a crashed flying saucer wedged in the concrete over the entrance, and there's various aliens and spaceship paraphanalia littered throughout the store.

I think there's a Tiki/Luau Fry's somewhere in OC.

yeah, it's got a theme, but a rather disappointing one. I've always gone to the Fry's outside, um, San Bernadino, I think... which has a mockup of the Space Shuttle and a general Space Program theme. The Seattle one has an "Old Time" them... with old sepia-tone pictures and ragtime playing over the sound system. So, in that way, it wasn't what I was expecting... but wow, they do have EVERYTHING.

I'll admit I'm a little envious; I've never been in a Fry's, but you made it sound like so much fun in your previous post about it. I guess it's a little like the rush I get from a really good office supply store. :) Congrats on Big Fun!

LOL! Thanks! And hey, next time you're in the Seattle area, you can always swing by... it's down next to Boeing in Renton.

And have you stopped smiling yet?
