Halfway there (almost)
Okay, I went through and did a bit of editing (which is the absolute beauty of this particular medium). As
genebreshears pointed out, we still have to go through the day for it to be added to the count... so I tweaked a few things below. It lacks a little oomph for being early, but I thought it'd be a bit silly to delete and repost it tomorrow
It's now halfway through the year, minus about 23 hours.
I think I'm on a pretty good track for doing the things I wanted to get done this year: I started piano lessons a few months ago, I'm about halfway to becoming more organized (which is really just another way of saying I'm not actually organized yet, but at least I'm putting a lot of effort into it), I cleaned out the Junk Room, and I think I'm finally on my way to having some medical-type issues under control (since I started going to the Naturopath two months ago, I'm *FINALLY* losing weight again for the first time in a year and a half).
Still on the list, that I can remember off the top of my head: Learn how to knit (shoud be easy, I've had all the stuff I need for it since January or so), increase my level of physical activity (we're buying one of these bikes tomorrow and the plan is to start making use of the many, many bike paths in the area), and take a trip into orbit (that's been on the list since I was two years old, still haven't made it, but it's getting more and more likely). I'm sure there were more things I wanted to accomplish, but since I can't recall them, they must not have been important. :-p

*realizes she really needs a good "D'oh!" icon for moments like these*

You can learn how to knit at JadeCon!!! Tons of us knit and would be happy to help you out! I'd be suprised if people weren't knitting at times. :)
I believe even Nancy will be there- she's an EXCELLENT teacher and is pretty much responsible for most of us learning. :)

Thanks! The picture came through Baaaaabyanimals (https://www.dreamwidth.org/error:bogus-lj-url) a few weeks ago, and when I snipped it down to icon size, that font just fit perfectly. It's probably the one icon I've made where I'm actually proud of how well it turned out.
