We just barely got in from our long weekend in Canada. Not much to say at the moment, as I'm so incredibly tired (did a bit of hiking today before the long drive home), except that we had a wonderful time and are planning on making a return visit to Vancouver Island in the (hopefully) not too far off distant future.

I'm so woefully behind on reading through my flist, and I'm not entirely sure when or if I'll ever have time to catch up (tomorrow is my one full day at home this week before I head out for Sacramento). So, if you get some comment from me a few weeks from now about something you've completely forgotten you'd been talking about, you'll know why.

Ack! I just stumbled across your LJ reply while cleaning up my inbox... I must have missed it during the great shuffle of roadtrips. But yes! I'll definitely let you know next time we're headed up that way (which is going to happen eventually, since we absolutely loved our visit there).

I actually thought of you on the second day we visited Victoria. We were out at a view area across the water from the Parliament Building, taking some pictures, when it suddenly hit me that I actually knew someone in the area. Don't know why I'd forgotten until then...
