Back in the old days, I used to print out recipes I liked and I had a filing cabinet I kept them in... then technology shifted enough that flat screen monitors became the default and we were able to build a computer for the kitchen that didn't take up much counter space. It actually hurt just a bit to dump all those printouts, but I double-checked and had all those recipes saved to our home server, so it's not like I needed them anymore.
