Washington State Gubernatorial Race

Nearly two weeks out from the election and we still don't know who our next Governor is going to be. The updates are coming in hourly in the ongoing count (sometimes a bit more often, when information is available). Last I heard there were around 300 votes separating the two candidates, but still with quite a few ballots to go through. At this rate, I really don't see how they're going to get the count done by the mandated deadline on the 17th.

A real nail-biter, huh. You must feel like you've been transported back to 11/2000. Hee!

Here in San Diego we may not know the outcome of the mayor's race until the 30th.

That's right! You've got the weird three-way tie with the write-in candidate, don't you?

Let me just say in passing that your icon has had me laughing all day. And I didn't even watch AtS.

You know, I think my idea to set 'em both up at the free-throw line and let 'em go at it is sounding better all the time.

Quite odd isn't it? This is my first Washington election, and it's been entertaining at any rate. So I suppose we shall see...
