And now for a few more!
March 11th: Primroses!
I originally picked this up as a tiny little plant with about three flowers nearly ten years ago, mostly because it made me think of my friend
primrose_1. It was labeled as an annual, so you can imagine my surprise when it popped up again the next year... and then the next and the next. It's definitely started spreading and I still just love seeing it every year. A sure sign that spring is around the corner (please pay no attention to the state of my flowerbed... I haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet this year).

March 12th: Old Railroad Line in the Fog
I went after a cache located just off an old railroad line in Kirkland... I believe these tracks are the ones that they haven't decided what they're going to do with, yet. There's been talk of ripping it out and building yet another walking trail, but there's another camp that would like to see it get fixed up and used for light-rail (with the idea that it makes sense to use tracks that already exist and already have easements). It was a bit foggy, but I thought the photo still turned out pretty well.

March 13th: Flying Apron Cafe
The Flying Apron is a local business that specializes in Gluten-Free Vegan food (they've got two locations, the original one in Fremont and this one in Redmond). Everything I've had there is good, but I especially love their GF vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Yum! I met up with a couple of friends who had never been there before (and really should have!) to grab some lunch. Delicious as always!

March 14th: Making Tortillas
It's been awhile since I've made tortillas, using my grandmother's recipe, so they ended up not being very pretty... but they were still quite yummy! Obviously, it's a rather messy process.
