"Desperate Housewives" Help

Apparently the episode ran long or was off a bit in the timing, because our recording of it cut out right before the end.

Can anyone tell me what was making that chopping noise right at the very end? Do we find out? Or do they leave it a mystery?

Thanks!!!

It was Mary Alice's husband (I forget his name) pounding a "for sale" sign into the ground in front of his house.

Who do you think was in that trunk anyway? *g*

I think she had a stillborn baby that she put in the trunk. Or something to that effect.

That's what I've been thinking, too. With any luck, we'll get something weirder and a bit more complicated than that.

Thanks! [livejournal.com profile] rackham and I both let out an identical frustrated "hey!" when the recording ended before the show did. We knew it couldn't have gone on much longer, but it was such an annoying place to cut out.

I figure it'll probably just turn out to be a child they lost, either at birth or slightly after. Though I would love for it to be more complicated than that... maybe have the son turn out to have killed someone and the parents were covering it up. And how stupid is it to take a well-buried box out from under the pool, wrap it up air-tight (?!?!) in plastic and dump it in a local lake??

I can't believe how hooked I've gotten on this show, because it's completely NOT my normal type.

Why get rid of the body of a stillborn baby? I mean, why not just call the coroner? I'm hoping it is something more complicated, as well.
