Turns out my step-dad has never been in a natural disaster before, so he's all jittery about the idea... my mom and I have been in way too many, and are probably a little too laid back about the experience.
It reminds me of going through bombings and not breaking a sweat, meanwhile my family back home would be having kittens every single time something came up on the news.
I hope everything goes okay. I'm still scared of the whole natural phenomena thing.
