What to do with a Meyer lemon...
Feb. 2nd, 2011 12:08 pmI mentioned a little bit ago that we'd picked up a dwarf Meyer lemon tree that is now living in our dining room with the other two tropical plants (a rather out-of-control hibiscus bush and a palm of some sort). The big question I have now is, what should I do with the single Meyer lemon that we've gotten so far...
I've found all sorts of yummy looking recipes, but they all require four or more lemons. And I could go buy some more Meyer lemons to augment what we've got... but with this first lemon, I sort of want to use it by itself.
So people! Friends of mine! What would you recommend doing with a single fresh Meyer lemon that would showcase the flavor nicely without getting overpowered by other ingredients or requiring me to buy more lemons?
(Sadly,
meyerlemon seems to have disappeared into real life or I'd just ask her... with a username like that, she's bound to have some good ideas!)
