Not Twin Peaks
Jan. 25th, 2014 09:28 pmThis afternoon we decided to head out to a new Geocache out near Snoqualmie. It was just published last night and had been found by the first person this morning, but it looked like it might be a fun and not too challenging hike. I tried to get a few photos along the way, but my little pocket camera was not really up to the task of capturing the scenery... since it looked up the Snoqualmie River Valley (where we live, although our house is probably a good 30 miles from that spot) with Mount Baker off in the distance. Alas.
However, on the way home we decided to swing by Snoqualmie Falls and take a look at the improvements they've made to the trails and boardwalk over the last year... and the place was absolutely swarming with people! Wow! I don't know that I've ever seen that many people there (although, to be fair, I usually end up stopping by in the middle of the week). ( The view was as gorgeous as ever. )
