Unintended photo

Today was one of those days filled with errands, where you get a lot done but for some reason don't feel like you do. Even though the new house isn't really all that far off the beaten path, it's out enough that I find myself stockpiling tasks to do when I head certain directions... Today's list included a trip to the YMCA to go walking (it was cold and drizzly outside; nowhere near as bad as the rest of the country, but I really didn't want to spend 30-plus minutes in it), lunch at my favorite natural food market (I had a free soup on my soup card!), off to the stylist to get my hair newly shorn and freshly purpled, hitting a store up the road from the stylist to pick up vitamins, grabbing a Geocache a block or so from the store, dropping a payment by the propane company just up the road from there, then off to Costco and the grocery store (which also has my favorite take 'n' bake pizza place... yay dinner!) before completing the loop and heading home. It was a fairly productive afternoon, even if it felt like I spent way too long in the car.

But my roots are no longer showing and my purple streaks are all nice and vibrant again (instead of fading out in places... I got it bleached right before the last purpling, and it tends to not stick as well the first time after bleaching) and the haircut is all neat again. Yay! I feel a bit more like myself. At one point, I was showing some photos to my stylist while we were waiting for the color to set... but when I went to shut the phone off, I hit the wrong button. I was considering which photo to post today and, well, ( there's just something about this unintended photo that I quite liked. )

ETA: I really like that you can see a bit of the tattoo on my stylist's foot. It's the pawprint of her late cat, which I think is such a wonderful idea and a lovely way to remember him. I've actually considered doing the same when the day comes that we lose Numfar (something I really don't like to think about)
