My plane landed about 20 minutes late last night... which isn't half bad, since we left San Jose about 30 minutes late (there was some problem with the original plane, so they swapped it out for a different one -- I'm certainly not going to complain too much about that) and at least the San Jose airport was running their air conditioning, unlike the Orange County one! Ugh. All those people, huge windows everywhere letting in the sun, and NO AIR CONDITIONING. I'm surprised there weren't fist-fights! Yeesh. Talk about a way to make tempers flare!

One of the first things I did when I got home was watch this week's episode of 'Treasure Hunters' (spoilerness under the cut) )

Followed that up with Monday's "Tonight Show" in order to watch Headlines. Yes, we're longtime Headlines junkies. It actually worked well as a method of gauging how far along the healing process we were after the accident... because in the first few weeks we had to pause the show, practically every few seconds, in order to quit laughing because it hurt so bad. Thankfully, that hasn't been a problem for a long time now.

And then, bliss... sleeping in my own bed, not needing air conditioning because it was cool enough outside to be comfortable anyway! Ahhhh....

Today I hit the ground running... though not walking, since [livejournal.com profile] taradaktyl and I hadn't made any arrangements to get together for our normal morning walk. It's just as well, because I had a piano lesson (which went horribly -- I hadn't been able to practice at all in the previous week) and then I had PT, which took half an hour longer than normal. Now I'm sore. Not like I wasn't sore to begin with, either. Hmmph. My PT did get approval for me to have a session with acupuncturist next week, so I'm really looking forward to that.

I was a little disappointed when it looked like no one at the PT clinic had ever heard of "Snakes on a Plane" (I wore my t-shirt today). Then, when I went to tell the one slightly-fannish PT about the release of "The Tick" animated series on DVD later this year (oh, yeah... that's the other bit of news from Comic-Con I forgot to mention!), he spotted the shirt and actually yelled "Snakes on a Plane!!!!!!!!!" Hee! I should have guessed he'd know what it was.
