I just stumbled across one of those sorts of products where, when you see it, you instantly have two completely conflicting reactions: "Wow! That is so insanely clever!" and "That is so simple, why didn't I think of that?"
This time, it's the 5.25" Storage Drawer (shown here in black, but also available in beige).
As someone who currently has two free 5.25" external drive bays on my system, the only thing I can think of that would be better use of that space is if the PC EZ-Bake Oven, offered on Thinkgeek.com a few years ago for April Fool's Day, turned out to be a real product. Even though I knew it was a joke, I still wanted one... and apparently, I wasn't the only one. The next day, there was a message on their main page about the sheer numbers of people who had written to them about it (and when I googled to find the original URL, I got link after link of blogs and sites talking about how much they wanted one).
Hmm... I wonder how hard it would be to work up something like that...
