Friday Five

1. What does it say in the signature line of your emails?

You know, I haven't had a sig line in ages. Might not be a bad idea to come up with something. Hmmmm...

2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?

Nope. Or if we did, I don't remember there being one.

3. If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say?

I've been seriously thinking of getting one, actually. I'm going to go for either FIAWOL or NRDGRRL or maybe CYBRPNK.

4. Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?

Nope.

5. What would you like your epitaph to be?

Hee! I know this one! Right after we got married, we lived just down the street from a cemetery, so we'd pass by it every night on our evening walks -- the subject just naturally came up. I told [livejournal.com profile] rackham I don't want something dull and boring like "Loving Wife and Mother." It had to be cool and kinda wacky... the sort of thing
that would maybe give people a small laugh if they happened upon it, something like "Barbarian Wench from Mars."

Ok, so Need a Break from Moemntary Stress

This seemed like fun and not needing too much 'think' power so here goes:
1. What does it say in the signature line of your emails?

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you
win."
- Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)

2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?

Nope. I was not big on the actual 'taling' therefor no quotage from me.

3. If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say?

GOAWAY, or perhaps, BEEPTHIS .

4. Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?

Yes, a charm from my grandmother's bracelet after she died, it was a sterling silver profile of me as a child, engraved with my birthdate!

5. What would you like your epitaph to be?

She Cared.

Heh. I've been sucked into answering Open-Ended Questions! Save yourselves, it's too late for meeee!

1) What does it say in the signature line of your emails?

I haven't done this since the days of Blue Wave. I guess these days all I can hope for is that the message speaks for itself.

2) Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?

Heh. At my school, about the last month of senior year, the big catchphrase was "IJDMA." It showed up everywhere, and everyone was supposed to be very hush-hush about what it meant. It was trivially simple to discover that it stood for "It Just Doesn't Matter Anymore."

3) If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say?

Don't have them; I can't justify the extra expense. Besides, there are times when I prefer to be anonymous. (It's even more effective when I actually reveal my inner goofball.) My last car had a plate frame with "TPK - Random Avenger" on it.

4) Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?

I don't know if a flyleaf comment counts as an inscription. If so, mostly books from family members. If not, then no.

5) What would you like your epitaph to be?

"Running Late, Be Back in Five Minutes"

1. What does it say in the signature line of your emails?

I have about twenty or thirty different sig lines that I use randomly. A couple come from inside my own head, while others are favorite quotes from movies, books, songs, and TV. Things like, "That's the kind of wooly headed liberal thinking that leads to being eaten. -- Principal Snyder"

2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?

Nope.

3. If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say?

They read RAF K (for Raifford Kincaid, a character of mine)

4. Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?

I had charms on my charm bracelet that had engravings, but I can't remember what all they said now -- graduation and my driver's license, stuff like that, from my Mom, but they were on the bracelet that was stolen. :(

5. What would you like your epitaph to be?

She tried real hard.
