Combining these two, to help move things along a bit.
On the 21st, I had the opportunity to meet up with some other Geocachers down at Factoria Mall to discover a Traveling Cache (they're fairly rare, so this was a bit of a treat).![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
rackham had picked up The Plague (possibly from work, or possibly from me, since I'd been a bit sick about a week earlier) and stayed home sleeping... so I took advantage of being down at Factoria to swing by Goldberg's Famous Delicatessen to pick up some of their Matzo Ball Soup (they have the BEST chicken broth I've ever tasted) for him. I don't think I've ever posted a photo of their storefront before, but it's possible I have...
On the 22nd, I drove into Redmond to help out with the Troop Support group at the VFW... we had to set up and count out 150 of each item for the boxes we packed later in the evening. Ever wonder where those boxes of Girl Scout Cookies you donate to Operation Cookie Drop end up? Well, wonder no more. (I got to count out and stack the cookies and was rather happy that I managed to get them to fit into that space without toppling over.)
I am, BTW, perpetually amazed at how much stuff we can cram into a standard Priority Mail box (this is only one part of the room... and we put at least one of each of those items into each box (some bins hold things like razors or gum that we'll do either three or five of, instead).
